The area is known to have over a thousand chateaux.

The cottage is in a small quiet hamlet, 2km from the villages -
Milhac (header image) and St Pardoux La Riviere. As well as exploring our immediate villages there are many places to visit. Map of location at bottom of page.

Regarded as one of the prettiest villages in France, St Jean de Cole is just a short drive away, a small village with great restaurants and Chateau. Further afield is the 'medieval cite' of Sarlat, shops and plenty of good bars and restaurants. Along the way is another great place to visit, Les Eyzies. A short drive to the village of Bourdeilles with its Chateau.
